God needs your Body

What does God want? what have we to offer Him?

He came and saved us from our sin what can we offer Him in return?

I believe all He wants from us is our body; to live in.

You and I as Christians are the body of Christ here on earth. There's nothing else here on earth that He wants, God wants to take possession of us body, soul and spirit. He wants our bodies to be a living sacrifice for Him. We read in Romans 12:1 (NKJ) ‘That ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service.'

It amazes me that God had to ask Mary if she was willing to allow him to use her body, to allow Jesus to be born in her flesh. What if she had said no! I believe God's hands were tied until Mary said, ‘Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.' Luke 1:38. God chooses to work through us here, He gave His Son for all of us, what can we give to Him in return? ‘A body for Him to live in'!

Jesus came in human form because there was no other way God could redeem us, He needed that body. If He came here as He is in Spirit we would been overwhelmed by His presence just like Moses was Heb.12:21 ‘so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:'

It seems incredible to me that God has to have a human body to operate in this earth realm we live in. I have noticed He mainly chooses to operate through peoples flesh.

God uses ordinary men and women, willing to allow Him to live in them and bring change to the world.

Moses the Prince of Egypt in hiding in the desert for 40 years. Gideon threshing wheat in the dark to hide from the Midianites.

What are you hiding from?

God will search you out like Gideon!

Eze.22:30 says God's Spirit searches for a man to stand in the gap ‘And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me'.

God needs you! Are you ready to listen to His voice like Mary? and allow God to bring deliverance to this generation. He is not at all concerned what we have to offer, our skills or talents. He tells us in 1Co.1:28 ‘And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:'

It's not our ability it's our availability, God is looking for vessels sanctified to His purpose.

Henri in the 60's coined a phrase, ‘It's in You'. That has stuck with us and is still as real today in our ministry. The hallmark of Glory Meetings have always been and still is our willingness to let God move unconditionally pouring out His blessings in whatever way He chooses.

You say what is it that is in me He wants?

It's the body ministry of course, we the church are God's body and we have the choice to let God use us or say no and just sit back and stop God flowing through us.

Could it be that God want's to birth something here on earth and we are saying hold on can I let God use me.

We must stop looking at ourself and look at Him!

The parable of the talents Matt 28, is challenging do we bury what God has given us to use or do we use it to bring others to Him. If we bury it, it leads to spiritual death. (read the end of the parable that's what it says). Our whole life is dependent on our obedience to His Spirit.

God has planted something unique in each one of us.

We all have something significant and personal to us, planted there by God. He did it to offer us through His Holy Spirit an opportunity to birth something new into His world each day.
