Fiskerton is a village on the north of the River Trent, 7 miles west of Newark Nottinghamshire.

Fiskerton chapel in Nottinghamshire is a place in which Christians from all over the country have come together to worship Christ for over thirty years.

It was originally used by Henri Staples, a Newark-based evangelist, who preached a message of joy, freedom and deliverance in Christ. Throughout the years hundreds of people have come to meetings known as 'Henri's Glory Meetings' at Fiskerton and have had their lives touched by the Holy Spirit.

The meetings are held each Saturday at 7pm except in August, also at 3pm on the Monday Bank Holidays, except the May Day Monday.

Directions

  • From the A1 at Newark take the A46 signposted Newark at the first roundabout take the A46 signposted to Leicester
  • At the next roundabout take the third exit the A617 signposted Mansfield
  • In a mile cross the river at Kelham, after 3/4 of a mile turn left and follow signs for Staythorpe, Rolleston and Fiskerton
  • The Chapel is on the right after you have passed through most of Fiskerton village.
