NETWORKING. I believe that’s what is necessary between us. A lot of us are hungry for something more of God; we’re hungry to find out what the Holy Spirit wants for our lives. It is quite difficult sometimes to get a genuine impulse of what we are seeking directly from God.
It came to me this way; we need to network with one another, with people of like spirit, those who are looking for something more. We need to encourage one another, pick up the phone and say "How are you getting on?" and share with somebody else what God is doing in us and to see what God is doing in them.
I believe that God in these last days is going to use ordinary people, it’s not going to be any particular organisation or any particular brand of religion. It’s going to be a group of people who are in love with Jesus, on fire for God, who are not trying to protect their own patch but trying to encourage all those around them.
I believe the church will grow as it comes together, if you feel the same as me let’s network to encourage one another as much as we can. I believe the body of Christ needs to come together like it’s never come together before. There are too many divisions and too much protectionism going on amongst the churches. Many churches are frightened what will happen if their members get set free and start moving in the Spirit.
God has impressed on us that if we are going to go anywhere as a church here at Basildon it’s got to be outward looking. It’s got to be looking out to those around us. As far as I’m concerned, God hasn’t called us to build a group of people together for just a "blessing machine" for those inside our Church.
God has called us to reach out as a body to whoever and whatever he brings us into contact with. We shouldn’t be afraid, God will fill His Church as we open ourselves up to what the Holy Spirit wants and as we join hands together.
There is going to be a mighty harvest, like there’s never been before. It says in the scriptures, there will come a time in the end days when the reaper will over take the sower. I believe we are living in that time, and it will happen very soon.
The reapers, those who win souls for Christ, will sow seed and see people saved instantly. Just as God did with Aaron’s rod, it budded and bore fruit overnight. That’s the way the Spirit will work, all the other leaders thought they could be like Aaron in their own strength. But Aaron was different He was anointed by God. It's the same with us; we have to be anointed to reach out to the people around us. I believe we have to have a wider vision if we are going to reach this generation. The churches won’t be big enough when the time comes.
I believe God is preparing a people, a network, that reaches out across denominational borders. As this Revival grows, it is necessary for a support network to grow with it for all those people who are coming into the knowledge of Jesus.
Churches will just not be big enough to contain the blessing.
We are not trying to start an organisation, but build framework in which people with like mind can be used as God shows us. It has always been said as Glory People you can’t join us, there’s nothing to join. If you get filled with God’s Glory you’ll be part of us, wherever you are.
If God is speaking to you to get involved contact us at the Glory Office and let us know, who knows what God can do with hungry folk set apart for God?
